Here are my top selected works, each chosen not only for their creative and technical excellence but also for the depth of meaning they carry. These pieces go beyond surface aesthetics, reflecting thoughtful concepts, personal insight, and intentional storytelling. Together, they showcase a versatile and impactful body of work that resonates on both visual and emotional levels.

Three digital pet portraits of my dogs in their prime, and one of my first tests at pet portraits. They were intentionally picked for their facial complexity due to their breed, and the fact that two of them were much darker, made it a fun challenge to paint two black dogs. Their eyes were not painted their natural colour, because they are wondrously huge in proportion to their faces!

A digital pet portrait of a Maine Coon, which was chosen for the complexity of it’s fur, and the natural majesty that is the cat species.

Guan Yin (Paint, Gold Leaf and Mixed Media): My renewed hand at traditional painting and first try in using gold leaf, I painted a portrait of Guan Yin in dedication to my late mother. She not only went to classes to hone her creative talents, but continued to produce projects for the sake of keeping her skills sharp, painting on traditional canvases to wooden furniture. She later preferred to paint pictures of Guan Yin, so to keep her tradition, I created a painting myself, to honour her genuine beliefs.

Many worship Guan Yu as a god, but to me personally, I see him as an idol akin to a celebrity on a teenager’s wall. I like him as a person, and aside from admiring his righteous character, I also take caution to his great arrogance, in case I fall ill to such undesirable behaviour. This Guan Yu I’ve painted encompasses one of great power, adorned with nine auspicious dragons and five flags, with his Green Dragon blade pointing upward, signifying protection of one’s home and warding off evils; I hope I have done his portrait justice.

In collaboration with the Transformers graphic novel franchise and the Transformer fandom, they have created a series of ‘one-shot’ comic pages called ‘Transformers Mosaic’, in which a selected few were to be published. I had the luck to write and visually complete two of them, which lead me to illustrate other unofficial fan work by passionate fans. The second comic is homage to Hidetsugu Yoshioka’s style in illustrating cute Transformer characters.
